Concept
Fortunate Jack is a production company whose identity is rooted in a vintage personal archival photograph. I designed the logo by recontextualizing this photograph — placing it within different environments such as wooden desks, window blinds, and interior surfaces—to evoke memory, texture, and a sense of lived time.
Typography played a key role in reinforcing the temporal quality of each image. I paired different type treatments to match the era, tone, and emotional weight of the photograph, allowing the identity to shift subtly while remaining cohesive. After finalizing the visual direction, I created design boards to guide the animator in translating the system into motion.
