These pitch frames were created for the IMAX Documentaries branding project. The iconic "X" serves as the central concept, symbolizing the intersection of documentary filmmaking and blockbuster-level events.

Concept

These pitch frames were created for the branding project for IMAX Documentaries—visually stunning films designed for IMAX theaters, offering an immersive experience with large-format screens and high-resolution visuals.

I used the iconic "X" as the central idea to further develop the entire concept. We begin with an atmospheric shaft of light pouring through a mysterious environment. Concentric blades evoke a camera shutter, pulling us away from its center and deeper into a landscape that transforms before our eyes. The blades contort and twist, gradually resembling two separate arrow paths that collide to form an "X," symbolizing the intersection of two roads—documentary filmmaking and blockbuster-level events.
